Patient Access Liaison - TEPEZZA - Virginia Beach, VA

Role: Patient Access Liaison (PAL) supporting reimbursement and insurance navigation for Amgen's specialty and infused therapies. Responsibilities: assist patients, caregivers, and providers with insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and reimbursement issues; educate stakeholders on coverage, billing, and coding; resolve access barriers and denied claims; collaborate with internal teams like Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Site of Care to optimize patient access initiatives; ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory guidelines. Requirements: Level 5 or 6 with a doctorate, master's, bachelor's, or associate's degree plus relevant experience (2+ years for master's, 4+ for bachelor's, 8+ for associate's, 10+ for high school); strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, prior authorization, coding, and patient support programs; excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and cross-functionally; willingness to travel up to 50%. Preferred: experience with buy-and-bill, rare diseases, clinical backgrounds, and familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards.
