Role: Patient Access Liaison (PAL) supporting insurance coverage, reimbursement pathways, and patient engagement for Amgen's specialty therapies. Responsibilities: assist patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers with insurance benefits, prior authorization, and reimbursement; educate on billing, coding, and coverage options; develop relationships with patients and providers; resolve access barriers; collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Care teams; ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in patient services or reimbursement, or equivalent experience; preferred experience with infused therapies, rare diseases, clinical backgrounds, and reimbursement processes. High-Value: focus on specialty and infused therapies, support at multiple stages including prior authorization, denied claims management, and patient support programs; experience in rare diseases preferred. Work setup: field-based, with up to 50% travel including overnight and weekends.
