Patient Access Liaison - Tepezza - Columbus, Ohio

Role: Patient Access Liaison (PAL) supporting insurance coverage and reimbursement navigation for Amgen’s specialty and infused therapies. Responsibilities: assist patients, caregivers, and providers with benefits, prior authorization, billing, and access challenges; educate stakeholders on coverage pathways, coding, and reimbursement processes; collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, and Site of Care teams; address and escalate complex access issues; ensure compliance with privacy, regulatory, and company policies. Qualifications: Doctorate, Master’s (2+ years), Bachelor’s (4+ years), or equivalent experience in patient services or reimbursement, with strong knowledge of healthcare payers, prior authorization, coding, and billing; experience supporting buy-and-bill or biologics preferred. High-Value: specialty/injected therapies, rare disease or orphan drugs, reimbursement processes, cross-functional field collaboration, travel up to 50%. Work Setup: field-based role with independent case management, involving frequent travel, virtual and in-person engagement.
