Role: Pathologist and Associate Medical Director overseeing FMI’s clinical genomic testing services, ensuring accurate sample review, result validation, and report approval. Responsibilities include developing and reviewing policies, supporting regulatory compliance, and acting as a subject matter expert in genomic profiling assays such as FoundationOne CDx, FoundationOne Heme, and PD-L1 IHC. The role involves client interface to support patient care, supporting QA and compliance activities, and contributing to education and research efforts. Qualifications: MD with medical licensure, board certification in anatomic pathology, 2+ years in pathology, biomedical research, or biotech; understanding of HIPAA. Preferred: certification in molecular genetic pathology and clinical pathology, subspecialty training in cancer genomics or clinical trials, leadership or research achievements, and strong communication skills. High-Value: involvement in regulated lab environments, expertise in cancer biology/genomics, clinical assay review, and regulatory adherence.
