General Summary:
The Pain Territory Business Manager (TBM) establishes and maintains relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to promote the safe and effective use of JOURNAVX (selective NaV1.8 inhibitor) in acute pain. The TBM is a field representative for JOURNAVX in the community setting and partners with Pain Territory Account Managers (PTAMs) to drive hospital/health system volume and access and targeted physician adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful professional relationships with assigned physicians to drive awareness and adoption of JOURNAVX.
- Develop and maintain product expertise (clinical attributes and patient unmet need) and educate HCPs on appropriate patient use.
- Understand assigned physicians and territory/market dynamics (stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationships, patient protocols, referral networks, access, and drivers/barriers).
- Implement strategic territory business plans to identify opportunities and deliver patient-focused solutions, supporting PTAM account engagement.
- Drive sales performance; ensure forecasts and budgets meet/exceed territory expectations.
- Collaborate compliantly with PTAMs and other field/headquarters teams to align business plans and initiatives.
- Role model ethics and integrity to support compliance and earn external stakeholder trust.

Required Experience/Skills:
- 5+ years biotech sales; product launch experience highly desired.
- Acute pain product launch and experience engaging diverse physicians highly desired.
- Experience engaging retail pharmacies; stocking and managed-care pull-through.
- Experience implementing inpatient formularies, protocols, pathways, and order sets.
- Ability to understand patient treatment nuances (care coordination, referral patterns, influence networks).
- Strong IT capabilities, including Veeva CRM.
- Experience in a highly matrixed environment.
- Bachelor’s degree.

Other Requirements:
- Complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations.
- Live and work within the territory (may require proximity to a major airport).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Up to 80% travel; work after hours as needed; 10–30% overnight travel.

Pay Range (base): $140,000–$160,000.

Incentive/EQUITY: Eligible for incentive bonus and annual equity awards.
