Please note: B2 night shift 7pm–7:30am Wednesday–Friday & every other Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety procedures and guidelines; use AbbVie approved tools to minimize extraneous matter in the packaging process.
- Perform housekeeping cleans on finishing lines; complete line clearances for lot/list changes; blow down finishing line/equipment on 1–2 value stream(s).
- Assist in setup of automated equipment in primary or secondary packaging area (1–2 value stream(s)).
- Service and operate automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment to produce finished product with minimal supervision.
- Perform quality-impactful tasks during the production run (challenges, parameters, pulling samples, in-process checks, bulk/commodity accountability).
- Sustain 6S of parts and tooling across the production floor.
- Escalate safety, quality, technical, and operating issues timely to appropriate groups.
- Communicate and drive improvement opportunities through cross-functional teams; understand line priorities with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform minor adjustments to improve efficiencies.
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent; technical experience and troubleshooting aptitude preferred; technical certificate or degree preferred.
- Demonstrated focus on quality and compliance with site policies/procedures.
- Ability to communicate issues to appropriate engineering and mechanical teams.
- Basic computer skills; ability to learn new programs/applications.
- Understanding/experience with POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO preferred.
- Knowledge of related cGMP requirements/procedures preferred.
- Stand 8–12 hours/day and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Work 40–48 hours/week; may work up to 60 hours depending on manufacturing demands.
