Role: Packaging Operator – Swing Shift
Reporting to: Manager, Packaging
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety guidelines and HACCP/Food Safety guidelines.
- Operate equipment in high-speed beverage manufacturing; willingness to cross-train.
- Perform quality checks throughout production runs.
- Conduct daily and weekly cleaning in the department.
- Handle materials (raw materials, chemicals, packaging, finished goods).
- Spot and remove damaged products or supplies.
- Complete production, packaging, and flavor changeovers per schedule.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to keep equipment running efficiently.
- Maintain daily records of downtime and machine operations.
- Maintain a positive attitude to support a healthy and safe workplace.
Qualifications:
- High school/GED or higher education.
- Previous manufacturing experience in food and/or beverage preferred.
- Knowledge and passion for craft beer.
- Lift/carry/push/pull cases up to 50 lbs repeatedly over long periods.
- Team-oriented; regular, reliable attendance.
- Able to stand/walk most of the shift; may stoop/crawl/crouch over/under conveyors and equipment.
- May require overtime, nights and/or weekends; may require rotating shifts.
