Our Team, Your Impact
- The Packaging Operator operates packaging line equipment, handles materials, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, following SOPs and maintaining smooth packaging operations.
How Youβll Spend Your Day
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment per PPE, safety, and EHS standards.
- Execute packaging operations per approved documentation and SOPs.
- Respond to alarms, troubleshoot packaging process issues.
- Clean equipment, change parts, and perform line clearance.
- Complete required documentation (room/equipment logbooks, batch records, verification checks).
- Stage/transfer packaging materials and bulk products.
- Verify packaging components and bulk product vs. batch records/protocols.
- Stack finished goods cases on pallets, shrink-wrap, and transfer to warehouse.
- Operate palletizer and pallet jack safely.
- Remove unused/discarded materials to warehouse/recycling areas.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, cGMP, DEA, OSHA, and other regulations.
- Communicate to resolve issues and maintain workflow; support quality, teamwork, continuous improvement.
- Train/mentor Material Handlers and Packaging Operators; perform other duties as assigned.
- Must read/write/speak/comprehend English.
Your Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
- 1β2 yearsβ experience in an FDA-regulated packaging environment (desired).
- Proficient with HMI screens for tablet/capsule filler, cottoner, capper, desiccant, inserter, checkweigher, labeler, case former, pallet jack.
- Ability to assist Packaging Technicians during line changeovers.
- Ability to work extended hours; perform basic math; knowledge of aggregation processes.
- Respond to alarms/faults/errors and assess potential product impact.
- Work safely and comply with EHS/PPE.
- Lift up to 50 lbs; work at elevation; stand ~6 hours/shift.
- Vision accuracy and color detection required.
