Role Summary
The Packaging Operator works as a high-performance team member supporting all aspects of team performance to produce a high-quality product in a safe environment while complying to all Haleon policies and procedures in accordance with FDA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate the packaging lines in the packaging department daily.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure that the products are in accordance with the specification.
- Perform routine safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in a safe condition for operation.
- Ensure processes quality and compliance in accordance with established procedures and standards of the Quality System.
- Comply with and support the Haleon Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Achieve Performance target for Packaging Lines.
- Participate in RCA for deviations.
- Participate in RCA for problems/breakdowns that occur on equipment.
- Perform and assist with preventative maintenance and autonomous maintenance on packaging production lines.
- Perform and assist with packaging production lines change overs to meet department needs.
- Perform and assist with 5S and cleaning activities to always meet good manufacturing practices.
- SAP functions-Batch reconciliation, Cycle Count, Material Movements, Confirmation, and Inventory control.
Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Required: 1 year of experience in a production environment.
- Preferred: Technical Degree or Certification.
- Preferred: Experience in high-speed packaging environment and troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred: SAP experience.
