Job Description:
An engineering professional who applies scientific knowledge, engineering knowledge, mathematics, and ingenuity to complete assignments related to a specific technical field or discipline.

Responsibilities:
- Comply with applicable policies and procedures.
- Plan and conduct small- to medium-size assigned projects within engineering specialty; coordinate and monitor activities; review plans/status; assess implementation quality; use contingency plans for schedule/financial overruns.
- Estimate and coordinate resources needed (materials, budget, time, people); anticipate future directions; benchmark internally/externally; recognize changes in environment/resources and prepare.
- Independently execute designs of products/processes/equipment/systems/facilities using standard engineering theories; independently investigate and conduct tests/experiments.
- Create/modify designs for intermediate and more complex problems; write detailed design specifications; predict patterns/trends; analyze data relationships and recommend consequences/alternatives.
- Improve methods/designs/processes; implement innovations/cost reductions and adopt original solutions.
- Mentor others; resolve underlying problems; identify customer/client needs and propose solutions; adjust products/services to meet needs.
- Direct technicians/outsourced resources; write RCEs, safety/quality checklists, scope documents; develop and execute validation protocols.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/science or related discipline preferred; or equivalent technical experience with demonstrated competence; desired 2+ years significant engineering and/or operational experience.
- Demonstrated competency within a discipline.
- Working technical knowledge and application; judgment for moderate-scope problems using review of identifiable factors.
- Ability to interact with diverse groups and maintain relationships with internal/external collaborators.
- Strong communication (oral, written, presentations) and interpersonal skills to negotiate/reconcile differences.
- Technical background in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, biologics, or similar industries (preferred).
- Cosmetic packaging experience (preferred).
