Role Summary
Operator, Packaging (Night Shift) responsible for supporting project startup activities, becoming the expert in the assigned area, leading training, and ensuring continuous supply of medicines by running the process, troubleshooting, and collaborating cross-functionally while upholding safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership on the manufacturing floor to maintain safe, high-quality, and productive operations to ensure reliable product supply.
- Maintain a safe work environment, exemplify safe practices, and support HSE goals.
- Act as administrator and technical leader for operations; teach proper techniques and ensure compliance with quality systems.
- Serve as a technical leader and primary point of contact for issue escalation on the shop floor.
- Administer technical training and ensure all operators are trained to perform tasks.
- Operate equipment and perform activities to meet production schedules.
- Assist in checking execution documentation (Electronic Batch Record, SAP, Cleaning Logs).
- Drive key departmental objectives including safety improvements, deviation reduction, productivity gains, and training compliance.
- Support site leadership to build a diverse and capable site organization by delivering area procedures, quality processes, and controls.
- Serve as a key liaison between operations and support functions.
Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Required: Ability to effectively communicate (electronic, written, and verbal)
- Required: Flexibility to troubleshoot and triage challenges
- Preferred: Leadership and the ability to train/educate team members
- Preferred: Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs)
- Preferred: Previous experience in operations/pharmaceutical industry
- Preferred: Previous experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release
- Preferred: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

Additional Requirements
