Role Summary

Operator – Device Assembly. The role involves supporting startup activities during project phase, becoming an expert in assigned area, and leading training for new staff. After the project phase, operate the process, troubleshoot, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure continuous supply, while maintaining safety and quality standards. Opportunities for growth into future leadership and technical roles.

Responsibilities

  • Support startup activities to bring the Device Assembly area into service.
  • Become the technical expert in the assigned area and educate the team on proper operation of equipment.
  • Lead training of new staff; become a leader for device assembly equipment and processes.
  • Travel domestically (2-4 week trips or 2-6 month assignments) and may travel internationally in year one to collaborate and learn from other sites.
  • Post-project, run the process expertly, troubleshoot, collaborate cross-functionally, and uphold safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily activities to meet capacity plans and develop team capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (electronic, written, and verbal).
  • Flexibility to troubleshoot and triage challenges.
  • Computer proficiency (desktop software, MS Office).
  • Time commitment and work authorization as required; fitness for duty physical, ability to work 12-hour shifts in operation, overtime, and safety equipment use.

Skills

  • Technical troubleshooting and domain knowledge for device assembly operations.
  • Training and leadership capability for educating team members.
  • Strong collaboration across functions and adherence to safety and quality systems.
  • Experience with manufacturing environments; knowledge of CGMPs is preferred.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass fitness for duty physical exam.
  • Willingness to participate in short-term domestic assignments and occasional travel for equipment testing or collaboration.
  • Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not anticipated.
