Shift = 2nd M-F 2p-10:30p
Supports the production process by operating equipment and performing assigned tasks in line with quality, GMP, and EHS requirements. Performs operations related to production of single and multi-component preparations in compliance with prescribed procedures and GMP principles. Basic operation of simpler and more complex production equipment.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Operate machines and manipulate materials; produce required documentation in line with data integrity and GMP; monitor processes in scope.
- Monitor process parameters to ensure compliance and eliminate deviations.
- Resolve routine issues/troubleshooting without supervisory approval after gaining relevant on-the-job experience.
- Work within established procedures with moderate supervision.
- Keep workplace clean; operate equipment properly; report defects immediately; keep supervisor informed of task progress, difficulties, and any irregularities affecting product quality.
Required/Preferred Competencies & Skills
- Ability to follow process/procedures in line with GMP, EHS, and SOP standards.
- Attention to detail; learning agility; basic digital awareness; good organization and ability to work under time pressure.
- Basic machine/equipment operation.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food processing.
Abilities/Knowledge
- Receive instruction and follow directions; communicate effectively (written and oral).
- Interact positively with coworkers and management.
- Follow company policies/procedures and cGMP/regulatory requirements.
- Maintain 100% compliance with assigned SOP/cGMP/EHS training.
- Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing/packaging equipment.
Problem Solving
- Routine to semi-routine work; recognize deviations; judgment within defined practices/policies.
- May recommend methods/procedures for problem resolution.
Physical Requirements (summary)
- Standing/walking for extended periods; frequent stooping/kneeling/crouching and twisting/reaching; occasional sitting, climbing, pushing/pulling, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 25–50+ lbs with assistance.
