Operator I - (2nd Shift)

Shift = 2nd M–F 2p–10:30p

Under close supervision, operate complex equipment, maintain accurate documentation, and complete basic set-up of equipment.

How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Maintain work areas and perform duties safely and efficiently per company policies, cGMP, SOPs, and Batch Record instructions.
- Complete required training and maintain 100% compliance.
- Report process/equipment problems; perform minor/basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure batch records, equipment log books, and relevant records are current; perform batch record reconciliation.
- Record manufacturing process data on batch records.
- Set up and operate equipment for processing operations.
- Communicate with previous/incoming shift operators and personnel.
- Clean and maintain processing rooms/equipment.
- Monitor process/equipment; make adjustments to meet batch record specifications; monitor product quality.
- Perform reconciliations and conduct in-process testing.
- Check/adjust calculations; check/review labels and batch records for accuracy.
- Follow department SOPs and batch record instructions; comply with safety rules.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Education/Certification/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent; 0–1 year relevant progressive manufacturing experience (preferably in pharmaceuticals).

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- cGMP, FDA, and regulatory requirements; SOPs; record keeping.
- English communication; basic math; independent and team work.
- Manufacturing process/equipment knowledge; material handling equipment use.
- GMP compliance in a regulated environment; customer service (internal/external).

Problem Solving
- Routine to semi-routine assignments; recognize deviations and apply judgment within defined practices/policies.
