Role Overview
- The CAR-T Operations 2nd Shift Manager oversees production of a personalized cell therapy to support clinical and commercial requirements in a sterile cGMP environment. Onsite, Mondayโ€“Friday on the 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cell therapy production and ensure safe, compliant manufacturing operations per cGMP.
- Serve as site management resource and point of contact for all 2nd-shift employees.
- Primary point of contact for 2nd-shift Technical Operations supervisors.
- Take direction from Associate Director and/or Senior Managers of process areas.
- Oversee hiring, development, performance management; assign personnel to execute daily production schedules.
- Create/revise operational procedures (manufacturing work instructions, master batch records, forms, etc.).
- Oversee multiple work centers; ensure quality, compliant product supply, and production metrics.
- Support manufacturing investigations; manage change controls; maintain inspection readiness and support regulatory inspections.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to execute daily production schedules.
- Lead facility operating review meetings; own projects driving continuous improvement and efficiencies.
- Establish relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years cGMP operations experience in biotech/biopharma; 3+ years supervisory experience (Cell/Gene Therapy preferred).
- Strong partnership-building in matrix environments; independent work; prioritize/manage multiple tasks.
- Clear verbal/written communication; analytical/problem-solving; lead change as an agent.
- Basic project management skills; responsiveness to issues; passion for new medicines.
- Operational Excellence/Lean Manufacturing asset.
- Ability to work shift work, daily overtime/weekends, and unplanned overtime.
- Deep FDA/EMA and global regulatory knowledge.
- Familiarity with MES/ERP and digital transformation.

Pay Range
- Base: $127,313โ€“$167,099 (USD).
