Role Summary
Operational Design Analytics, Manager
Responsibilities
- In partnership with the ODA Senior Team, surface feasibility parameters, including historical trial performance metrics (enrollment rate, screen failure rate, drop-out rates, and completion rates) and other related clinical trial metadata.
- Leverage internal data and predictive analytics tools to inform on study planning & placement decisions.
- Collate global site performance data to support recommendations for the most effective geographic footprint based on a study’s specific requirements.
- Surface potential enrollment challenges by quantifying how specific eligibility criteria can impact recruitment rates and trial durations.
- Harmonization and mastering of various data sources applied by cross-functional teams for study planning and predictive modeling.
- Driving data quality and process improvement projects to accelerate efficiencies within the ODA Team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional data colleagues to curate biologically driven training datasets for Machine Learning applications.
- Apply REM data insights to support the successful enrollment of the Diversity Action Plan (DAP) targets and DAP Mitigation Plans.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree
- Or Master’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience
- Or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience
- Or Associate degree and 8 years of relevant experience
- Or High school diploma / GED and 10 years of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS/BSc in the sciences or RN
- 9 years’ work experience in life sciences or medically related field, including 6 years of biopharmaceutical clinical development
- Experience in maximizing data and analytics to inform clinical trial planning
- Experience with clinical data sources and understanding of how/when to apply them (fit for purpose approach)
- Ability to integrate & synthesize data as it relates to operational planning and apply to facilitate data-driven decision making
- Understands how data and analytics can inform study design and operational planning
