Open-Source Technology Lead

Role: Lead open source technology management within biopharma data sciences, focusing on container management, package management, and compliance for multilingual, NLP, and data quality workflows. Responsibilities: build, secure, and maintain Docker/Kubernetes images; oversee open source package onboarding, versioning, and repository strategies; enforce license and vulnerability policies; develop production-grade R and Python libraries; contribute to open source projects; and represent BMS in scientific and open source communities. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Software Engineering, or related; 5+ years software engineering experience with open source tools, deep expertise in R and Python, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and package management workflows (CRAN, PyPI, Nexus). Preferred: experience with multilingual NLP, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and active open source community engagement.
