Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally as ONE team in each geography; demonstrate influential leadership to build and achieve shared goals.
- Deliver clear, compelling customer messages; handle objections; close calls with a commitment to action.
- Apply deep understanding of territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, product, clinical data; anticipate changes to optimize execution.
- Develop and execute a call plan to improve access and sales opportunities; promote a highly technical/innovative oncology/hematology/rare disease portfolio to a sophisticated audience.
- Understand local healthcare system landscape, EMRs, pathways, and PA-claims processing; manage accounts and develop account-level plans.
- Use sales data reporting tools with customer insights to identify territory/customer growth opportunities.
- Use social media to capture customer insights and improve customer experience.
- Adapt between non-digital and digital settings; use non-personal tools to deliver customized customer experiences.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
- 5+ years’ relevant experience (as applicable by level) in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams; strong field leadership and customer engagement.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix environment; communicate clinical product information; consistent high performance; successful selling to large accounts/key segments.
- Self-starter with analytic skills; ethical leadership and compliance with company policies and laws.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of the territory border; travel 60–80% across geography; valid driver’s license.

Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.

Leveling (by experience):
- Oncology Representative: 2+ years.
- Oncology Specialist: 4+ years.
- Senior Oncology Specialist: 6+ years.

Driving is an essential function: must have a fully valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

Training: must complete initial training (home study; ≤8 hours/day and ≤40 hours/week).
