Role Summary
This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Claremont, Brooksville and the surrounding area. The Oncology Sales Specialist will handle delivering sales performance and promoting product(s) within the oncology, hematology or rare disease portfolio of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. You will have a deep level of commercial insight, be curious, life-long learners, lead among peers, proactively serve customer needs, and adopt digital tools to couple customer and data insights to improve sales opportunities in competitive markets.
Responsibilities
- Drive competitive sales growth
- Coordinate and organize customer collaboration activities for target healthcare professionals to reflect customer needs, leverage available content, and use multiple channels for interaction
- Build partnerships with healthcare professionals to develop long-term collaboration with Novartis over time
- Provide memorable, customer-focused experiences that go beyond clinical differentiation by listening to needs and understanding the customerโs healthcare environment
- Utilize available data resources to create, dynamically set priorities, and tailor plans for territory, account, and customer interaction
- Regularly share customer insights with relevant internal stakeholders to support content, campaigns, and interaction plans related to products and indications
- Deliver value to customers and patients
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and implement solutions addressing unmet needs of customers and patients
- Act with integrity and fairness, treating customers and colleagues transparently and respectfully, and do the right thing when ethical dilemmas arise; adhere to the Novartis ethics code, values, and conduct
Qualifications
- Required: Basic sales skills, customer insights, communication skills, negotiation skills, conflict management, account management, cross-functional coordination, knowledge of the healthcare sector, commercial excellence, ethics, compliance
- Preferred: Experience in oncology, hematology, or rare diseases; proficiency with data-driven planning and multichannel engagement
