Role Summary

This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Claremont, Brooksville and the surrounding area. The Oncology Sales Specialist will deliver sales performance and promote products within the oncology, hematology or rare disease portfolio of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, leveraging commercial insight and digital tools to tailor customer interactions and improve sales opportunities in competitive markets.

Responsibilities

  • Major Accountabilities: Drive competitive sales growth.
  • Personalize and orchestrate customer interactions for target HCPs by reflecting customer preferences, utilizing available content and multiple touchpoints.
  • Build long-term, ongoing collaborations with HCPs to establish sustained partnerships for Novartis.
  • Provide a memorable, customer-centric experience by listening to customers' needs and understanding their healthcare environment, beyond clinical differentiation.
  • Use available data sources to create, dynamically prioritize, and adjust regional, customer and customer-interaction plans.
  • Continuously share customer insights with relevant internal stakeholders to support the development of content, activities and interactions related to products and indications.
  • Create value for customers and patients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions addressing unmet customer and patient needs.
  • Act with integrity and honesty; engage with customers and colleagues transparently and respectfully, and speak up when something seems wrong. Adhere to Novartis ethics, values and conduct.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Sales representatives are primary drivers of our client interactions and sales performance; they are ambassadors of our client experience approach and build deep relationships to create value for customers and patients while driving sales growth in a compliant and ethical manner.
