Role Summary

This is a field-based and remote role supporting key accounts in the Tampa Bay area. The Oncology Sales Specialist delivers sales performance and promotes products within the oncology, hematology, or rare disease portfolio of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. You will apply deep commercial insight, be a curious lifelong learner, lead among peers, proactively serve customer needs, and readily adopt digital tools to couple customer and data insights to improve sales opportunities in competitive markets.

Responsibilities

  • Stimulate growth of competitive sales.
  • Personalize and orchestrate engagement journeys for target healthcare professionals, reflecting customer preferences, leveraging available content and multiple engagement channels.
  • Strengthen engagement by partnering with healthcare professionals to develop durable collaboration over time for Novartis.
  • Deliver memorable, customer-centered experiences beyond clinical differentiation by listening to their needs and understanding their care environment.
  • Leverage available data sources to create, prioritize, and dynamically adjust engagement plans for territories, accounts, and customers.
  • Continuously share customer information with internal stakeholders to support the development of content, campaigns, and interaction plans related to products and indications.
  • Provide value to customers and patients.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design and implement solutions that address unmet needs of customers and patients.
  • Act with integrity and honesty in dealing with customers and colleagues, with a clear intent; when faced with ethical dilemmas, do what is right and speak up when things seem unfair; adhere to the Code of Ethics and Novartis values.
