Role Summary

This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Claremont, Brooksville and the surrounding area. The Oncology Sales Specialist will handle delivering sales performance and promoting product(s) within the oncology, hematology or rare disease portfolio of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. You will have a deep level of commercial insight who are curious, life-long learners, lead among their peers, proactively and continuously aspire to serve customer needs, and readily adopt digital tools to couple customer and data insights to improve sales opportunities in competitive markets.

Responsibilities

  • Promote competitive sales growth and tailor the customer engagement journey for target healthcare professionals by reflecting preferences and leveraging available content and multiple engagement channels.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to build engagement and develop a long-term sustainable collaboration with Novartis.
  • Listen to customer needs and understand the medical environment to deliver a memorable, patient-centered experience beyond clinical differentiation.
  • Utilize available data sources to create territory-, account-, and customer-interaction plans, dynamically prioritize and adjust as needed.
  • Continuously share customer insights with internal stakeholders and support the development of product and indication-related content, campaigns, and interaction plans.
  • Provide value to customers and patients; work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address unmet customer or patient needs in a compliant manner.
  • Interact with customers and colleagues with transparency and respect, act with clear intent and integrity; escalate ethical concerns as appropriate in line with Novartis' Code of Ethics and values.

Qualifications

  • Required: Experience in sales or customer-facing roles within healthcare or life sciences; ability to work field-based and remotely; strong understanding of oncology/hematology/rare disease landscape preferred.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to build durable customer relationships, strategic planning capabilities, and experience working within cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance.
