Role Summary

This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Claremont, Brooksville and the surrounding area. The Oncology Sales Specialist will deliver sales performance and promote products within the oncology, hematology or rare disease portfolio for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. The role requires deep commercial insight, curiosity, leadership among peers, and the ability to use digital tools to combine customer and data insights to improve sales opportunities in competitive markets.

Responsibilities

  • Promote competitive sales growth.
  • Personalize and orchestrate customer engagement pathways for target healthcare professionals, reflecting customer preferences and utilizing available content and multiple engagement channels.
  • Build engagement by partnering with healthcare professionals to develop a durable collaboration for Novartis.
  • Provide memorable, customer-centered experiences beyond clinical differentiation by listening to needs and understanding the healthcare environment.
  • Utilize data sources to create, dynamically assign priorities, and adjust engagement plans across territory, account, and relevant customers.
  • Share customer information with internal stakeholders to support development of content, campaigns, and interaction plans for products and indications.
  • Deliver value to customers and patients.
  • Collaborate in a compliant manner with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions addressing unmet needs of customers and patients.
  • Act with integrity and honesty, treating customers and colleagues transparently and respectfully; uphold the Code of Ethics and Novartis Values and Behaviors.

Qualifications

  • Required: Experience in sales with ability to influence and manage accounts; strong customer insights and communication skills; ability to coordinate across functions; knowledge of the healthcare sector; ethical conduct and compliance.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated excellence in commercial performance and relationship-building in oncology or related fields; fluency in relevant languages besides English as applicable.
