Role Summary

This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Claremont, Brooksville and the surrounding area. The Oncology Sales Specialist will deliver sales performance and promote product(s) within the oncology, hematology or rare disease portfolio of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. You will demonstrate strong commercial insight, curiosity, and collaboration, and leverage digital tools to improve sales opportunities in competitive markets.

Responsibilities

  • Personalize and organize customer interactions for target healthcare professionals, leveraging available content and multiple channels.
  • Foster engagement by collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop sustained collaborations with Novartis over time.
  • Provide memorable, customer-centered experiences by listening to needs and understanding the healthcare environment.
  • Use available data to create, prioritize, and adjust relevant territory, account, and customer interaction plans.
  • Share customer information with internal stakeholders to support content, campaigns, and interaction plans related to the product and indication.
  • Deliver value to customers and patients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions addressing unmet customer and patient needs.
  • Act with integrity and honesty, adhering to the Ethical Code and Values of Novartis; speak up when something seems wrong.

Qualifications

  • Required: Experience in sales within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector; ability to work across cross-functional teams; strong communication and negotiation skills; proficiency in data-driven planning.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of oncology, hematology or rare disease portfolios; experience with field-based sales roles; proficiency with data tools and customer relationship management.
