Field-based Oncology Sales Representative/Specialist (North Carolina East territory). Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary customer point of contact; meet key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and influencers; build relationships to uncover needs.
- Present value of oncology products using appropriate resources; compare/contrast against competitor products.
- Apply knowledge of cancer staging, treatment options, and dosing schedules.
- Understand significance of clinical trials across tumor types/therapies and their impact on products and account behavior.
- Analyze trends in a complex buying environment (e.g., group purchasing organizations, wholesalers, specialty pharmacies).
- Review/evaluate product purchasing and prescribing patterns (outpatient vs inpatient infusion, hospital contract, etc.).
- Develop and execute short- and long-term account plans in collaboration with account team and Oncology Customer Team Leader.
- Share learnings/best practices across customers.
- Influence beyond territory/product area by asking strategic questions to understand needs and develop customized strategies.
- Ensure consistent customer experience by collaborating with cross-functional customer team (e.g., Customer Team Leader, Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, Medicare Account Executive).

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree + 6+ years sales experience OR high school diploma + 10+ years equivalent experience (healthcare/scientific, marketing, military acceptable).
- 0–2 years field-based experience.
- Valid driver’s license; able to drive.
- Travel as required (up to ~25% overnight).
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred:
- 2+ years field-based experience selling an oncology therapeutic to oncology customers.
- Strong performance in sales/marketing or oncology clinical role.
- Clinical oncology experience across multiple solid tumors.
