Job Summary / Primary Function:
- Acts as the primary customer contact for demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Incyte’s product.
Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Travel as required.
- Engage customers through in-person, virtual, or requested channels.
- Execute marketing strategies; deliver branded sales messages and disease state education; implement promotional programs.
- Lead team initiatives in conjunction with OBD.
- Take on additional projects; identify opportunities to enhance value proposition; assist with future program development.
- Serve as a subject matter expert providing clinical knowledge and communicating clinical benefits; support team knowledge of brand strategy, messaging, and clinical data for Jakafi.
- Recognized as a clinical/technical expert in MF and PV.
- Develop best-practice account management strategies for the team/region; work with accounts influencing the local market (e.g., state societies/advocacy groups).
- Coach others on integrating compliance and ethics into daily work; support OBD with compliance changes.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy and effectiveness reviews; support access challenges; achieve revenue targets.
- Develop external relationships and identify new/expanded opportunities; contribute ideas to area sales strategy; drive Jakafi sales via development plans for major thought leaders.
- Frequently exceeds revenue targets.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record or ability to meet transportation requirements.
- 3 years as a Senior OTS/OAS; 6 years tenure at Incyte.
- Minimum 2 CM and 3 FE Ratings in last 5 years; FE rating or higher 3/5 years; minimum CM in last 5 years.
- Extensive hematology/oncology market experience with successful sales outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to travel via car/air/train, including overnights.
