Job Summary (Primary Function)
The Oncology/Hematology Specialist acts as primary customer contact for demand creation by executing the marketing strategy and promoting products.
Essential Functions (Key Responsibilities)
- Engage with customers through in-person, virtual, or as requested channels, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
- Execute marketing strategies, deliver branded sales messages and disease state education, and run planned promotional programs.
- Represent in a professional, compliant, and ethical manner.
- Provide feedback on marketing tools/tactics and review sales activity effectiveness.
- Use team members to address customer needs and ensure access to Incyte products for patients who need them.
- Provide exceptional customer service through total account management, including ensuring product access and triaging medical or reimbursement issues.
- Demonstrate and communicate in depth knowledge of the clinical benefits of Incyte products.
- Develop/maintain strong disease state knowledge and exemplary selling skills.
- Create/maintain a strategically developed business plan based on local market and account knowledge.
- Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Local Oncology market knowledge (Maine, NH, VT).
- Customer-centric selling approach.
- Valid driverโs license and satisfactory driving record (or ability to obtain if required).
- Ability to work effectively in matrix teams.
- Ability to gain access and develop strong relationships with community and academic healthcare providers.
- Documented successful sales performance; strong business analytics and account management skills.
- Minimum relevant experience in Hematology/Oncology (preference for hematology).
- Several years of successful biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience (or equivalent).
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Ability to travel using various modes; travel level depends on territory.
- Demonstrated leadership and inclusive mindset.
- Product โaccessโ knowledge.
- Strong communication and business planning skills.
Pay Range
- $166,000.00 โ $210,000.00 /Yr.
