Job Summary (Primary Function)
The Oncology/Hematology Specialist acts as primary customer contact for demand creation by executing the marketing strategy and promoting products.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
- Travel as required (reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities).
- Engage customers via in-person, virtual, or as requested, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
- Execute marketing strategies; deliver branded sales messages and disease state education; execute promotional programs.
- Represent in a professional, compliant, and ethical manner.
- Provide feedback on marketing tools/tactics and review effectiveness of sales activities.
- Coordinate with team members to address customer needs and ensure patient access to Incyte products.
- Provide exceptional customer service through total account management, including product access and triaging medical/reimbursement issues.
- Communicate clinical benefits of Incyte products; maintain disease-state knowledge and selling skills.
- Create and maintain a business plan reflecting local market/account knowledge.
- Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Local Oncology market knowledge.
- Customer-centric selling approach.
- Valid driverโs license and satisfactory driving record (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to work in matrix teams.
- Ability to gain access and build strong relationships with community and academic HCPs.
- Documented successful sales performance; strong business analytics and account management skills.
- Relevant Hematology/Oncology market experience (hematology preferred).
- Several years of successful biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience (or equivalent).
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to travel using various transportation modes; travel level/frequency depends on territory.
- Demonstrated leadership; welcoming diverse perspectives and fostering inclusive environment.
- Product โaccessโ knowledge.
- Strong communication skills and business planning acumen.
