Oncology Field Medical Director, Thoracic (non-MD)

Role: Field-based Medical Science Expert supporting Pfizer’s Thoracic oncology portfolio across New England (MA, ME, VT, NH, CT). Objectives: deliver medical education, generate clinical insights, facilitate clinical trial site identification, and address scientific questions to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities: execute medical strategies, provide up-to-date therapeutic area knowledge, serve as a resource for medical information, support clinical trial site selection and investigator-sponsored research, and lead advisory boards. Collaborate with global and local medical teams, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups. Communicate effectively across various channels, including presentations and written reports, ensuring patient-centric and health literacy principles. Qualifications: BA/BSc with 10+ years, MBA/MSc with 8+ years, or PharmD/PhD with 6+ years in relevant healthcare or medical roles. Proven expertise in Thoracic oncology, preferably including lung cancer, with experience in HCP engagement, clinical trial support, and medical content development. High-value specifics include emphasis on clinical trial site identification, investigator-sponsored research, and real-world treatment insights. Work setup: remote, field-based with 60-80% travel; proximity to an airline hub preferred.
