Role: Field Medical Scientific Expert supporting Pfizer’s Thoracic Oncology portfolio in New York State, primarily engaging healthcare professionals to deliver scientific education, gather insights, and support clinical trial activities. Responsibilities: develop and execute territory-specific medical strategies, provide up-to-date therapeutic area knowledge, facilitate medical information exchange, identify potential clinical trial sites—including underrepresented populations—and support investigator-sponsored research. Collaborate across internal teams, lead advisory boards, and represent Pfizer at professional societies. Maintain high scientific expertise, including familiarity with latest congress data and disease literature, and contribute to medical content and strategy development. Qualifications: Bachelor's in health sciences required; PharmD, PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree highly preferred. Experience: 6+ years with PharmD/PhD, 8+ years with MBA/MSc, 10+ years with BA/BSc, preferably in oncology or thoracic disease areas. Skills: strong communication, stakeholder influence, clinical and technical expertise, and experience with digital tools. High-value specifics: focus on lung cancer, immuno-oncology, biologics, and clinical development phases from early research through late-stage trials; involved in medical information, clinical site identification, and investigator support. Location: Remote, field-based in New York State with 60-80% travel.
