Role: Field Medical Scientific Expert supporting Pfizer's Thoracic oncology portfolio in New England (MA, ME, VT, NH, CT). Objectives include delivering scientific education, gathering clinical insights, supporting trial site identification, and addressing key scientific questions to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities involve planning and executing medical strategies, providing disease and product knowledge, serving as a resource for medical information, and collaborating across teams to develop content and support clinical trials, including underserved populations. Additional duties include leading advisory boards, managing medical inquiries, engaging with Patient Advocacy Groups, and representing Pfizer in professional societies. Qualifications: Bachelor's in health sciences required; PharmD, PhD, or equivalent preferred; 6+ years of relevant experience for PharmD/PhD, or 8+ for MSc/MBA, or 10+ for BSc; recognized subject matter expertise; excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple projects remotely; and willingness to travel 60-80%. Preferred: familiarity with SOPs/regulations and prior Field Medical experience. Work setup: Remote, field-based with significant travel, primarily within the defined territory. The role emphasizes scientific expertise, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and clinical trial support within the lung cancer therapeutic area.
