Role Summary

The Oncology Account Specialist, NSCLC engages specific NSCLC Oncology specialists and key Oncology customers within a defined account, including academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts. The role focuses on presenting clinically focused selling messages to build and grow revenue and achieve product goals, guided by compliance with all Regeneron policies and procedures governing promotion of pharmaceutical/biological products in the US. Collaborates with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and Regional Science Managers to address customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage NSCLC Oncology Specialists and key experts within assigned accounts to deliver clinical messages and introduce the LIBTAYO launch in NSCLC, growing brand share and revenue.
  • Coordinate with partners (Regional Director, Territory-based Oncology Account Specialists, Sanofi Genzyme Field counterparts, Reimbursement Specialists) to resolve customer needs, analyze market dynamics, and develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives in the territory.
  • Build strong relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
  • Conduct market profiling to understand regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Identify business opportunities within accounts and coordinate Regeneron Oncology account team efforts (e.g., contracting pull-through).
  • Develop broad relationships within each account to understand objectives, goals, and challenges, and identify Regeneron Oncology resources aligned to customer needs.
  • Demonstrate dedication to compliance by understanding regulations governing customer interactions and maintaining consistent compliance.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; minimum 3 years of successful Oncology sales experience (NSCLC experience preferred); buy-and-bill experience with biologics; 3+ years of experience working with key NSCLC thought leaders or high-influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, or key institutions; current account management experience with large Oncology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks; strong understanding of the Oncology NSCLC therapeutic area and current market; ability to travel and cover large geography territories; residence in the territory.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications.
