Role Summary

Oncology Account Specialist for NSCLC and NMSC operating in Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, Santa Barbara, CA. Drives engagement with NSCLC & NMSC oncology specialists and key customers within assigned accounts to deliver clinically focused messaging, grow brand share, and achieve product goals while maintaining strict compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

  • Engage NSCLC and NMSC specialists and other key experts within the assigned account to deliver clinical messages and support brand launch, growth, and revenue.
  • Collaborate with Regional Director, Territory-based Oncology Account Specialists, alliance counterparts, and Reimbursement Specialists to address customer needs, identify market dynamics, and develop strategies aligned to brand and corporate objectives.
  • Develop strong working relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
  • Conduct market profiling to understand regional health care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Identify business opportunities within accounts and coordinate with the Regeneron Oncology account team to support contracting and pull-through.
  • Build broad relationships within accounts to understand objectives, goals, and challenges and identify appropriate Regeneron Oncology resources.
  • Demonstrate dedication to compliance by understanding regulations governing customer interactions and maintaining consistent compliance.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; minimum 3 years of successful oncology sales experience; NSCLC experience preferred. Buy-and-bill experience with biologics required. Experience with key NSCLC & NMSC thought leaders or high-influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, or key institutions. Current account management experience with large oncology group practices or integrated delivery networks. Strong understanding of NSCLC & NMSC therapeutic area and current oncology marketplace. Ability to travel and cover large geography territories. Must live in the territory.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications.
