Role Summary
The Oncology Account Specialist, NSCLC will engage NSCLC oncology specialists and key oncology customers within assigned accounts, including academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts. This role focuses on presenting clinically focused selling messages to grow brand share, revenue, and to consistently deliver product goals while complying with all regulatory and policy guidelines. It requires initiative, ownership, and advanced account-management selling skills, and will collaborate with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and Regional Science Managers to address customer needs. Location: Richmond, Charlottesville, and Roanoke, VA; travel within territory required.
Responsibilities
- Engage NSCLC oncology specialists and other key experts within assigned accounts and deliver clinical messages to introduce the launch of LIBTAYO in NSCLC, and to grow brand share and revenue.
- Facilitate partnership with multiple collaboration partners (Regional Director, Territory-based Oncology Account Specialists, Sanofi Genzyme Field counterparts, Reimbursement Specialists) to resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics and trends, and develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives in the territory.
- Develop strong working relationships with aligned designated accounts and specialists.
- Execute market profiling activities to gain a deep understanding of regional and local health care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
- Proactively identify business opportunities with assigned accounts and coordinate efforts with the Regeneron Oncology account team, including supporting contracting pull-through with accounts.
- Develop a breadth of relationships within each account to understand each account’s objectives, goals, and challenges and identify Regeneron Oncology resources aligned to the customer’s needs.
- Demonstrate dedication to compliance by understanding regulations and policies governing customer interactions and maintaining focus on staying compliant.
Qualifications
- Required: A Bachelor's degree; Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications are a plus; minimum 3 years of successful experience in Oncology sales (NSCLC experience preferred); buy-and-bill experience with biologics required; minimum 3 years of experience working with key NSCLC thought leaders or high-influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, or key institutions; current account management experience with large Oncology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks; strong understanding of the Oncology NSCLC therapeutic area and current Oncology marketplace; ability to travel and cover large geography territories; must live in the territory; ability to collaborate across reporting structures.
- Preferred: NSCLC experience.
