Role Summary

The Oncology Account Specialist, NSCLC and NMSC engages NSCLC & NMSC Oncology specialists and key oncology customers within a defined account (academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) to deliver clinically focused selling messages, grow brand share and revenue, and achieve product goals. The role requires collaboration with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and Regional Science Managers, and adherence to all policies governing the promotion of pharmaceutical/biological products in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Engage NSCLC and NMSC Oncology Specialists and other key experts within assigned accounts to introduce the brand launch, grow market share and revenue.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors, Territory-based Oncology Account Specialists, alliance counterparts, and Reimbursement Specialists to resolve customer needs, analyze market dynamics, and develop strategies aligned with brand and corporate objectives.
  • Develop strong working relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
  • Conduct market profiling to understand regional/local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Identify business opportunities within assigned accounts and coordinate with the Regeneron Oncology account team (e.g., contracting pull-through).
  • Build relationships across accounts to understand objectives, goals, and challenges and align Regeneron resources to customer needs.
  • Demonstrate dedication to compliance by understanding regulations and policies governing customer interactions and maintaining ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; 3+ years of successful experience in Oncology sales (NSCLC experience preferred). Buy-and-bill experience with biologics required. Experience working with NSCLC & NMSC thought leaders or high-influence customers in large oncology group practices or IDNs. Current account management experience with large oncology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks. Strong understanding of NSCLC & NMSC therapeutic areas and current oncology marketplace. Must be able to travel and cover large geography territories. Must live in the territory.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications; oncology sales experience beyond 3 years.
