Role Summary

The Oncology Account Specialist for NSCLC and NMSC engages specific NSCLC & NMSC Oncology specialists and key Oncology customers within a defined territory, focusing on presenting clinically focused selling messages to build revenue and achieve product goals. The role involves collaboration with Reimbursement and Access Specialists and Regional Science Managers to address customer needs while adhering to all regulatory and company policies. Requires strong account management-based selling skills, initiative, drive, and independence, with compliant performance delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Engage Oncology Specialists (NSCLC and NMSC) and key experts within assigned accounts to deliver clinical messages, introduce brand launch in NSCLC & NMSC, and grow share and revenue.
  • Partner with Regional Director, Territory-based Oncology Account Specialists, alliance counterparts, and Reimbursement Specialists to resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics, and develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives.
  • Develop strong working relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
  • Conduct market profiling to understand regional and local health care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Identify business opportunities with assigned accounts and coordinate with the Regeneron Oncology account team, including contracting pull-through.
  • Build relationships within each account to understand objectives, goals, and challenges and identify Regeneron Oncology resources aligned to customer needs.
  • Demonstrate dedication to compliance and understanding of regulations governing customer interactions and maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; 3+ years of successful experience in Oncology sales (NSCLC experience preferred). Buy and bill experience with biologics required. Experience with key NSCLC & NMSC thought leaders or high-influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, and key institutions. Current account management experience with large Oncology group practices or integrated delivery networks. Strong understanding of NSCLC & NMSC therapeutic area and current Oncology marketplace. Proven leadership and collaboration skills across multiple reporting structures. Willingness to travel and cover large geography territories. Must live in the territory.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or additional advanced certifications.
