Position Summary:
Oncology Account Manager for a defined US territory. Build trusted partnerships with oncology care teams and drive territory plans to improve patient access. Work with medical affairs, market access, and commercial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with oncologists, nurse navigators, specialty pharmacists, and institutional accounts.
- Create and execute territory business plans aligned with regional/national objectives.
- Identify high-value prescribers/accounts and focus resources on clinical and operational priorities.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve patient access and support timely therapy availability.
- Use customer insights/data to prioritize actions, set measurable goals, and track performance.
- Support launches and local field programs through coordinated, compliant activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical/biologic/specialty sales or clinical oncology experience with direct physician or institutional engagement.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to drive in assigned territory.
- Must live in the geography (no relocation assistance).
- Ability to travel domestically as needed (up to ~30%).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years oncology/specialty sales (health system/institutional accounts preferred).
- Experience in hematology or solid tumor; infusion/complex product handling.
- Specialty pharmacy, payer engagement, or account-based strategy experience.
- Strong organization, communication, and ability to influence without authority.
Work arrangement: Field-based; regular in-territory travel; driving is essential.
Compensation/Benefits (US): Base salary $145,500–$242,500; annual bonus; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive; health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
