Oncology Account Manager (Hematology) Charleston, SC

Territory: Charleston, SC (Agusta to Hinesville, Savannah, Myrtle Beach, and Florence, plus surrounding areas)
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, specialty pharmacists, nurse navigators, and institutional accounts.
- Create and execute territory business plans aligned with broader commercial goals.
- Identify key prescribers/accounts and apply resources to support needs and priorities.
- Work with cross-functional partners (medical affairs, market access, commercial operations) to improve patient access and ensure timely therapy availability.
- Use customer insights and data to prioritize actions, set goals, and measure performance.
- Support launches and local promotional activities through coordinated, compliant field programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical/biologic/specialty sales or clinical oncology experience with direct physician or institutional engagement.
- Valid driverβs license; driving within territory is essential.
- Residence within the assigned territory; no relocation assistance.
- Travel within territory and occasionally beyond (including overnight stays); up to 30β50%.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence without authority.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years oncology or specialty sales (health system/institutional account experience preferred).
- Experience with hematology or solid tumor therapies; infusion product experience.
- Familiarity with specialty pharmacy, payer engagement, or account-based strategies.
- Proven ability to create/deliver territory plans and meet measurable targets.
- Strong organization; ability to balance multiple priorities.
Work Arrangement:
- Field-based role; most work in territory with regular travel; driving essential.
