Location/Requirement:
- Must be located within a reasonable distance from San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with oncology departments and practices (Oncologists, Hematologists, Pharmacists, Nurses, execs, department heads/managers, and support staff).
- Increase education on approved product benefits/risks, develop new business, improve resource utilization, and grow sales/market share to achieve assigned Oncology sales plans.
- Deliver on-label technical/scientific presentations using approved data to support sales quota achievement.
- Serve as lead US Commercial contact for targeted accounts; coordinate support with Brand/Strategic Marketing, GPO, Thought Leader Liaisons, MSLs, and contracted SPPs.
- Build and maintain strategic/tactical account business plans; facilitate on-site physician/treatment team training; monitor/report sales progress.
- Act as key point of contact for account questions/requests; coordinate timely support delivery.
- Attend/participate in clinician boards, societies, and HCP meetings (on-label communications); remain current on clinical/market/payer developments in oncology.
- Complete required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
Qualifications (Basic):
- Analytical ability; business-savvy data analysis to define account/program strategies.
- Leadership without direct authority; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Persistence/grit; ability to drive personal or company vehicle/equipment.
- Valid driverโs license; pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Meet healthcare representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof).
Preferred:
- Bachelorโs degree; oncology/specialty/pharma experience; account management; specialty pharmacy; healthcare/patient or consulting experience; people management/leadership; MBA/advanced degree.
