Position Summary
- Oncology Account Executive responsible for sustained territory growth via new account acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships. Combines strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and high-touch account management for comprehensive tumor profiling solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Territory Growth
- Drive new account acquisition and organic growth through strategic prospecting, value-based selling, and clinical education.
- Position Caris as preferred or sole-source provider of tumor profiling/molecular intelligence.
- Analyze territory opportunities and develop sales plans.
- Meet/exceed revenue, activity, and performance targets.
Account Management & Customer Experience
- Build/maintain customer relationships through consistent in-person engagement.
- Ensure seamless customer experience across the full order lifecycle.
- Maintain communication; escalate issues if satisfaction is at risk.
- Execute retention strategies; identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Clinical & Technical Expertise
- Engage oncology clinicians/allied teams across clinics, pathology labs, and hospitals.
- Support physicians with ordering/interpreting the CMI platform (including PHI when required).
- Advise on portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
- Maintain knowledge of molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings.
Business, Reimbursement & Market Insight
- Provide consultative guidance on billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
- Support laboratory reimbursement and operational workflows.
- Share market trends and competitive insights with leadership.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years relevant sales experience.
- Strong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics.
- Knowledge of billing/reimbursement.
- Excellent communication/relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Valid driver’s license; travel regularly.
- Successful completion of pre-employment requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years sales experience focused on oncology or molecular diagnostics.
- Established oncology or pathology relationships.
- Familiarity with hospital systems/pathology networks.

Additional
- Travel required (possible evenings/weekends/holidays).
- Physical demands: sit/stand for extended periods; lift routine office materials.
