Role Summary

This position provides leadership and strategic execution for a nurse educator service platform designed to support patients in navigating and utilizing available resources to better understand their conditions and effectively manage their treatment plans. The Nurse Ambassador District Manager II should impact at the district level as well as Regional and Program levels.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient activity within in-field and remote teams to empower patients through their treatment journey. Create, implement, and communicate District business plan and monitor progress.
  • Prioritize activity to achieve results with your team, maximize vendor partnerships to achieve results for patients, and ensure smooth, collaborative day-to-day and long-term business execution. Set tone and pace for business processes and organization.
  • Understand and present a franchise/business point of view when leading teams, championing meetings, and developing mastery of product and disease state information, as well as pertinent market dynamics, including Managed Care landscape.
  • Coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct and indirect team members to enhance individual skills and elevate overall team performance. Hold direct reports accountable to behaviors.
  • Provide direction and insights to key internal partners in business planning process.
  • Consistently exemplify the AbbVie Ways of Working.
  • Prioritize patient needs across your teams and across multiple brands and indications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
  • Previous District Manager or Patient Service experience preferred.
  • Business analysis and planning skills that drive performance for the patient. Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas.
  • Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage behaviors. Ability to create a culture of a high-performing team with full team engagement.
  • Collaborates and is able to influence without authority across organizations. Models AbbVieโ€šร„รดs Ways of Working.
  • HCIR credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations in the assigned territory; must be in good standing or eligible to obtain these credentials.
  • HCIR credentialing may include background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses. Responsible for satisfying all HCIR requirements and related liabilities.
  • Valid driverโ€šร„รดs license with ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
