Job Summary
The Clinical Technical Specialist (CTS) is a field-based nuclear medicine technology expert ensuring successful adoption and utilization of Telix products. Oversees multiple, complex site activation initiatives, drives cross-functional collaboration, and optimizes the end-user experience using Telix assets.
Candidates must be located in: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Memphis, or Louisiana.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and oversee strategic onboarding of new imaging sites for integration of Telix radiopharmaceuticals into commercial and clinical workflows.
- Develop and implement imaging site optimization best practices (protocol standardization, scanner settings, workflow efficiency) to ensure high-quality imaging outcomes.
- Oversee and execute key field activities aligned with corporate strategy, supporting product launches and HCP education.
- Collaborate with Territory Account Managers within the geography.
- Contribute to quarterly area business reviews.
- Lead site engagement strategies with imaging centers, nuclear medicine specialists, and stakeholders to ensure patient access and product utilization.
- Establish and manage education approach (training materials, product presentations, knowledge dissemination).
- Represent Telix at meetings and conferences and synthesize insights for company strategy.
- Oversee competitive intelligence gathering and market insights.
- Act as liaison across cross-functional teams; manage key projects to ensure measurable impact.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, corporate policies, and ethical guidelines.
Position Requirements
- BS or MS in a scientific discipline (preferred Radiology or similar) or equivalent experience.
- NMTCB or ARRT certification required.
- 5 yearsβ experience with PET/CT scanning technical aspects with NGIs.
- Local/regional/national travel up to 75%.
- Experience in radiopharmaceuticals required (prostate cancer preferred).
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry policies; interpretation of scientific data; market research/competitive intelligence tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong multi-tasking/time management/organization.
- Detailed knowledge of regulations for interactions with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment; quick understanding of disease areas and clinical development plans.
- Valid driverβs license; must live near a major airport.
