Job Summary
The Clinical Technical Specialist (CTS) leads site onboarding, medical education, and radiopharmaceutical optimization to ensure Telix product adoption in commercial and clinical trial settings. Oversees complex site activation initiatives, drives cross-functional collaboration, and supports Medical Affairs objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead onboarding of new imaging sites; integrate Telix radiopharmaceuticals into commercial and clinical trial workflows.
- Develop and implement imaging site optimization best practices (protocol standardization, scanner settings, workflow efficiency).
- Oversee field activities aligned with Medical Affairs strategy (product launches, clinical research, physician education).
- Support research priorities by identifying data gaps and real-world evidence opportunities.
- Execute site engagement strategies with imaging centers and nuclear medicine stakeholders to improve access and utilization.
- Deliver structured scientific education (training materials; consistent knowledge dissemination).
- Represent Medical Affairs at medical/scientific meetings; capture and synthesize insights.
- Stay current on imaging best practices and emerging technologies.
- Serve as liaison between Medical Affairs and Commercial, Marketing, Clinical Operations, and Regulatory teams.
- Manage Medical Affairs projects; ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, corporate policies, and ethical guidelines.
Education and Experience / Requirements
- BS or MS in a scientific discipline (preferred Radiology) or equivalent experience.
- Certification: NMTCB or ARRT required.
- 5+ yearsβ experience in advanced oncology PET scanning and optimization.
- Radiopharmaceutical experience required (prostate cancer preferred).
Skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency; strong verbal/written communication.
- Ability to interpret scientific data; business acumen and emotional intelligence.
- Valid driverβs license.
Travel / Location
- Up to 75% travel; candidate must reside in the territory and live near a major airport.
