Responsibilities:
- Define and drive an enterprise Non-Human Identity (NHI) strategy; rationalize initiatives and establish centralized machine-identity governance across on-prem, cloud, and agentic environments.
- Build and maintain an NHI registry (service accounts, APIs, bots, application identities, RPA, AI agents) to discover, inventory, classify, and govern non-human identities in IAM.
- Own AI agent identity governance posture: ensure AI agent platforms integrate with IAM so every agent is inventoried, mapped to its owner, governed by access controls, and visible for security monitoring.
- Discover new AI agents/agentic workloads; partner with teams to onboard into NHI governance and remediate gaps.
- Set standards for agent authentication, credentials, credential security, and identity/access observability.
- Establish NHI observability by integrating IAM with external systems (AWS, Azure, GCP, agent platforms).
- Implement NHI credential security controls (JIT access, dynamic secrets, short-lived certificates, automated rotation, runtime authentication).
- Modernize NHI and cloud IAM tooling; evolve Cloud IAM and IGA strategy and design cloud governance frameworks (RBAC, entitlements, access certifications, least privilege).
- Drive cross-functional alignment; define KPIs/maturity metrics; ensure SOX/GDPR/PCI-DSS compliance and remediate audit findings.
- Manage budget/resources/vendors; lead and mentor technical specialists.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s + 8 yrs OR 7 yrs with relevant experience OR PhD + 3 yrs.
- Hands-on NHI/machine identity management and cloud IAM in large enterprises.
- Experience maturing NHI programs (service accounts, API creds, app identities, automated/agentic workloads).
- Deep cloud IAM expertise (AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID, and/or GCP IAM) and integration with central IGA.
- Cloud IGA/process design (entitlements, access certifications, RBAC, least privilege).
- Secrets management and credential security (JIT, dynamic secrets, short-lived certs, rotation).
- Architecture-level knowledge: federation and service-to-service auth (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, workload identity).
- Track record influencing matrixed teams; proactively closing governance gaps; strong executive communication.

Beneficial/Preferred:
- AI agent platform familiarity; NHI discovery/inventory integrations; Kubernetes service accounts.
- IGA platforms/connectors (Saviynt, SailPoint); scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Terraform/IaC).
- PKI/certificate management, API security; CIS/NIST compliance knowledge; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP/CCSP/AWS/Azure/GCP); pharma/life sciences experience.

Tools/Skills:
- AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID, GCP IAM; Vault/Secrets Manager/Key Vault; Saviynt/SailPoint; NHI governance tooling; OAuth/OIDC/SAML; Kubernetes; CI/CD and Terraform; PowerShell/Python; PKI and audit/compliance reporting.
