Role Summary
Night Shift Supervisor, Aseptic Filling at Lilly. Lead PAR operations, oversee start-up activities during project phase and manage ongoing manufacturing lines in a highly automated, sterile environment. Focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement while developing an inclusive, skilled team.
Responsibilities
- Lead start-up activities to bring the Parenteral (PAR) area into service, train staff on equipment, and develop technical proficiency.
- Develop an inclusive culture and ensure lines are staffed with trained and qualified employees.
- supervise line leaders and operators, ensuring adherence to safety and quality rules and procedures.
- Collaborate with area supervisors to maintain high standards of communication and best practice sharing across shifts.
- Manage shop floor execution to meet production goals, cGMP conformance, and Manufacturing Excellence standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by gathering ideas, articulating value, and implementing high-value improvements.
- Develop area documentation (procedures, work instructions, job aides) with the team to support startup and operation.
- Originate and investigate deviations and quality issues, assist in root cause determination, and support corrective actions.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate operators; manage direct reports across multiple manufacturing lines.
- Communicate cross-functionally with support teams on quality, equipment, and operational concerns.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior supervisory experience
- Basic computer skills (desktop software, MS Office)
- Experience in operations or supporting a manufacturing operation (Pharma, Food, Clean-room, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple requests
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to train and mentor others
- A valid driverβΓΓ΄s license

Additional Requirements
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Ability to wear safety equipment and gown in a cleanroom (Grade C, ISO 8)
- Willingness to work a 12-hour night shift (6pm to 6am on a 2-2-3 schedule)
- Eligibility to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship anticipated)
