Role Summary
The Neuroscience Sales Specialist is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. The role requires account-based selling, building and maintaining strong office relationships, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support initiatives. Ideal candidates will demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills to identify opportunities, tailor solutions, and exceed performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and key external contacts (HCP and office staff) at all levels, understanding needs and taking appropriate action
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product and patient education
- Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet their needs and drive sales targets
- Regularly review and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and manage promotional budgets
- Address external market challenges while fostering collaboration with internal teams to drive cohesive sales strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse expertise and achieve shared objectives
- Maintain a defined call average with healthcare providers focusing on top target customers
- Apply a range of problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the geographic assignment
- Adhere to all company compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve all sales performance goals, objectives, and complete administrative duties for the geographical assignment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field
- At least 1 year of full-time, documented B2B sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred
- Pass background, motor, and drug screening as part of the hiring process
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Skills
- Proven track record of accomplishments in the market toward meeting objectives
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, communication, and openness to feedback
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact with HCPs in person and virtually; proficient with technology
- Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred
- New product launch experience preferred
- Broad therapeutic area experience, particularly in related areas
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in related field

- Travel: Regular travel required, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel
