Neuroscience Sales Specialist
Essential Areas of Responsibility
- Build rapport with regional team members and key external contacts (HCPs and office staff)
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product/patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet needs and achieve sales targets
- Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Address external market challenges and collaborate with internal teams to drive sales strategy
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and meet shared objectives
- Maintain call average as outlined in the sales plan (face-to-face with top target customers)
- Use traditional and nontraditional problem-solving to improve performance in the assigned geography
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales goals, objectives, and administrative duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related field)
- Minimum 1 year full-time documented B2B sales experience; pharmaceutical sales strongly preferred
Skills/Abilities (Required/Preferred)
- Proven market accomplishments; strong interpersonal, written/oral communication skills
- Ability to interact with HCPs in face-to-face and virtual environments and be proficient with technology
- Knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing (preferred); new product launch (preferred); broad therapeutic area experience (preferred)
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
