Position: Neuroscience Sales Specialist (territory near Allentown, PA)
Responsibilities:
- Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually; provide clinical, disease-state, and reimbursement info compliantly.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet/exceed sales objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with HCPs, KOLs, advocacy orgs, and stakeholders.
- Address questions/objections using advanced dialogue and selling skills.
- Tailor approved sales aids/clinical reprints/brand resources to customer needs.
- Partner cross-functionally (managed markets, operations, sales training, marketing) to deliver coordinated solutions.
- Advise on pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution; liaise on access issues.
- Track and report sales activities, expenses, and customer interactions.
- Represent Acadia at conferences/trainings and required meetings.
- Mentor/train new sales specialists as needed; contribute to cross-functional projects.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Deep neuroscience disease-state knowledge and product knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and virtual platforms (Zoom/WebEx).
- Strong payer dynamics knowledge (Part D; specialty pharmacy/hub distribution).
- Trusted advisor to the medical community; strong interpersonal/communication/negotiation skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (life sciences preferred).
- Sales Specialist: 3 years sales experience with 1+ year in pharma/healthcare (neuroscience preferred).
- Sr. Specialist: 8+ years healthcare sales; 2+ years complex/account-based selling.
- Executive: 12+ years healthcare sales; 3+ years complex/account-based selling.
- Reside within territory (or within 30 miles); valid driverβs license; meet travel requirements.
- Comply with vaccination requirements for HCP access.
Salary/Benefits (US-based):
- Salary range: $92,000β$115,000; eligible for discretionary bonus and equity.
