Role Responsibilities
- Drives sales in assigned territory.
- Engages with customers face to face and virtually.
- Develops and implements effective business and territory call plans; executes live/virtual engagement strategies.
- Builds rapport and relationships in live and virtual settings; maintains customer engagement using digital tools.
- Leverages internal reports and analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Uses product and disease-state knowledge to educate providers on unbranded/branded value propositions and approved disease-state information/resources.
- Collaborates across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance objectives.
- Completes administrative expectations on time.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in: Professional Sales/Promotional Activity; Small Business Owner/entrepreneurial/Marketing/Customer Service/Account Management; Healthcare/Scientific role (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT); Educator (e.g., Teacher, Principal); or Full Time Military experience.
- OR associate’s degree with 6+ years; OR high school (or equivalent) with 8+ years relevant experience.
- Must live within 25 miles of the territory border.
- Valid US driver’s license; compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation in past 7 years disqualifies.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales and/or medical-related marketing.
- Proven sales/marketing success, territory management, communications, teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Experience with relevant disease states/therapeutic area/products.
- Knowledge of territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations).
- Resides within territory boundaries.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Annual base salary range: $76,000–$199,600.
- New-hire training: salary non-exempt (overtime eligible); after certification: overtime exempt.
- Quarterly Sales Incentive bonus.
