Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - PA-NJ District

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a high-performing specialty sales team in the neuroscience/psychiatry portfolio.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach sales representatives; provide leadership and mentoring to the team.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve above-average results and drive goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, customer facilities, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate clinical and tactical acumen in communicating with internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate across functions and adapt to an innovative work environment; manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management preferred.
  • Preferred: CNS/psychiatry/shcizophrenia/bipolar/depression specialty experience.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing specialty sales representatives.
  • Required: Documented high performance in sales and leadership; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Required: Driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and clean driving history; ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements.
  • Required: Strong analytical and business acumen; ability to build positive relationships.
  • Required: Must reside near a major airport within the district; ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Preferred: Experience in small company and startup environments.

Skills

  • Excellent people management and supervisory skills; ability to coach and mentor the team.
  • Strong clinical, patient-centric approach with effective communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 75% within the district.
